Castle Rock has a surprising number of expensive rentals ranging from about $1,500 to $2,000 a month for such as small town.
Perhaps it is because Castle Rock is just a short drive to the Denver Tech Center. For those that work at the tech center this is a great location to rent a house in Castle Rock.
As you are traveling on I25 you can’t miss the butte in the picture above. I believe the butte is located in Rock Park just east of I25.
Castle Rock is home of the Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course, I have driven by there but have not played it yet.

Dave –
Castle Rock includes the Castle Pines Neighborhood (at least for awhile longer) which is the area around where Tiger Woods and other big name golfers used to play. This truly brings to the higher end as well as several other beautiful neighborhoods that are fairly new.
The other thing – many of the areas are newer and were bought during the times that ARMS were the norm. Now with the changing of rates, to be able to keep up with the ARM, rents have had to increase or the owners would be loosing a lot of money each month which is not good for the home, the owner, or the resident that is leasing the home.
Interesting… so that is why rents seem high there.
