If you guessed Craigslist.com then you would be right according to Google and Twitter.

Dan’s take on Kijiji verses Craigslist. Dan sees Kijiji growing at a high rate.

Who came up with the domain name Kijiji.com? That is not an easy one for anyone to remember. Craigslist is much easier – kinda like PmDave.com.

From a person who commented on my blog:

“I have chosen to go with Craig’s list because it is not only free, it has tons of listings. The problem with Craig’s list is that the ad only gets leads for maybe one day – and then it moves so far down the list no one finds it.”

I think that pretty much sums up the Craigslist user experience for posting rental homes. I have heard this same comment several times.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Craigslist and I have used it several times with great success. I just think that the reason listed above is one of the major reasons property managers use sites like RentClicks (and hopefully mine soon). It’s a set-and-forget experience.

Also you have to watch out for lots of craigslist rental scams on there as well.
