FARPM Makes Us Giggle!

]]> Anyone with kids knows that dinner conversation can be quite confusing with all the noise. Here’s a replay of our dinner conversation last night.

Dave: I think I need to get into FARPM (meaning the conference this spring).

Kristen: What? You need to get into fartin’?

Dave: No, FARPM!

Kids: Giggle…giggle…HA! HA! ….Daddy said “farting”.

Kristen: You think you could tone down the potty humor a bit? What would grandma say if they came out with this at her dinner table.

Kids: Faaaaahhhhrrrrrting, Farting….Daddy said Farting.

Dave: I didn’t say Farting…I said FARPM. It’s an acronym for Florida Association of Residential Property Managers.

Kristen: A what? An acronym?

Kids: a-crappin, a-farting….daddy’s using potty language….HA!! HAHA!!! HAHAHAHA….

Dave: Oh, never mind.

Kristen: Their name is actually FARPM? What were they thinking???

Dave: Good question.

RentalHomesPlus is the New FARPM Official Partner

]]> I got word from this comment on my blog that RentalHomesPlus will be the ‘Official 07-08 Annual Partner’ for FARPM.

Are we starting to see the start of RentClicks/Rentals loss of absolute power over the industry? I wonder if there was a bidding war for the partnership?

This move from RentalHomesPlus shows us how aggressive they are going to be with sales down in Florida.

This kind of gives me credit of getting another one of my predictions coming true for 2007. I said we would see a new partner for NARPM in my predictions (which kind of happened), now we are seeing this happening to FARPM.

FARPM Conference in the Keys Has Good Attendance

]]> I am hearing that the FARPM Conference being held down in the Florida Keys (Hawks Key) has a good attendance (about 140 property managers).

I am guessing my marketing team (me) blew it again by not attending this conference. Judging by the Hawkscay website it would have been a great place to travel to. Reminds me of when I went to school in Miami and went to the keys on the weekends to snorkel.
