]]> When you own a rental home the last thing you want to do is have something major go wrong with the furnace or water heater.

I have followed the Blue Ribbon Home Warranty company for years because I have run into their site many times while doing real estate related searches.

I spoke with DonLee Lane the CEO of Blue Ribbon Home Warranty based in Denver Colorado on the phone this morning and he provided me with some insight on his company.

  • They have been around since 1985, (I would think age of an warranty company would be very important.)
  • They offer many pricing plans that most can afford
  • They are BBB member
  • I also read through a few of the many testimonials on they site and their customers have a lot of nice things to say about them

To be honest I have never used this company but on my very first house I bought in Kansas I had a warranty and it came in handy when my water heater started to leak.
