If you look on the home page of the NARPM site you will see that the image link on the top right has been changed from Rentals.com to RentalHomePros.com.

So I wonder if NARPM is losing money because Rentals.com is not paying them for that home page link now?

I can only assume that RentalHomePros does not have to pay for that link. Will we see an increase in NARPM dues?

Update: Now it has switched back, do you think Rentals.com got upset and asked them to switch it back?

On the second day of the conference NARPM announced some big news. I shot video of the announcement and plan to post it here on my blog if I can get permission.

If I can’t I will still write a post about it. I don’t want to write a long post about it now because I am typing this on my phone.

The show is going well so far.

I thought it was kind of fun talking with property managers that have the RentalHouses $299 unlimited plan that are looking for options after their plan ends in a few months.

The resort is very nice. I plan on making a video and placing it here so all of you that couldn’t attend could see the conference.

I leave for the conference tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

Since I have an engineering background and not a sales background I guess you could say I am a little nervous. Exhibiting at conferences is not my area of expertise.

The message at my booth will be that I am building a quality product. I will also show property managers that I am ranking #1 in Denver on Google. I will also tell them that I plan to expand that success past Denver into their markets.

I want to also introduce them to my free (but high end) mapVine tool and how it can help them with their own web sites.

But most of all branding the RentVine name so property managers can get used to the name as well as the logo.

I am sure I can’t compete with Rentals.com’s large booth at the conference, but I can compete with them on the web! Just look how I am going toe to toe with them in Denver and Colorado Springs.

This week I am working on my hand-outs. I only have a week to finish everything up before my first conference. (Yes like everything else I am doing all of it myself including the banner sign shown above).

I am going to be showing off my mapVine tool for property managers that have never heard of it.

My booth is near the buffet and bar area and I think I am directly across from the RentMarketer folks, so please stop by and say hi!

I usually save all my predictions until the end of the year, but I have to add this one.

Why will Rentals.com become vendor of the year? Because it appears that  NARPM didn’t sell that many silver and bronze packages yet for the Scottsdale conference.

I hear stories that vendor of the year is traditionally given to the one that pays the most.

Yep, I am guessin’ after this post that RentVine will not be the vendor of the year.

I am not sure why I find this amusing, but this blog has more visitors than the NARPM.org site!

Last month NARPM.org had 1,281 visits.

As you can see from above just my blog had over double the visitors than NARPM.

Well I finally signed up for an affiliate NARPM membership and I also signed up for the national NARPM conference in Scottsdale AZ.

I was assigned booth #34 which is right next to the RentMarketer booth (#35) and the food and drink area. So please grab a drink and stop by my RentVine booth this September.

Since this will be my first time exhibiting I am not sure what I will have to give away. I have been working on my Phoenix rankings so I should have a story to tell about the traffic I am receiving for the Phoenix area.

Now I need to book the hotel and get some booth display items.
