Looks like RentalHomesPlus let another sexy banner ad appear on their site again.
I like to tease them about this because I would like property managers to know that RentVine does not carry any banner ads.
Property managers should know that their property listings won’t have to compete with sexy ads like this one.
I am guessing that RentalHomesPlus makes only 5% of their revenue from banner ads on their site - is it worth it?
What are your thoughts, do banner ads cheapen the value of the site?
On a side note, I tease RentalHomesPlus about this but all the other major rentals sites like Rentals.com and RentalHouses.com carry these banner ads too that have little to do with renting a home. I tease RentalHomesPlus most often because their banner ads appear to be the most irrelevant.

I hate all the banners rhp,rentalhouses, all the google adwords …
I run banners on my site. They are “paid” banners and are only offered to property managers.
They are relavent to my visitors.

Rentals has so many ads it is a joke. The Rentclicks owners were completely against that……..$ talks.
If I recall correctly… RentClicks had numerous ads all over their site.

I think they did only after Primedia purchased them.
Sex must sell in the industry….I was told directly by my supervisor at Primedia that I must dress sexier to land better deals. I refused. I reported it to HR and I was the one let go. What a reputable company.

Is noone going to NARPM from Rentals?
Do not know who that is. They may not spend that much this go around. They need to cut costs and paying NARPM all that money when they are starting their own site doesn’t make sense!
