Good article, Dave! What I admire about you and how you got your business started is the the shear discipline that you have. Not many people are able to dedicate 2 hours per night for one week, let alone one year. Your site is great! and, the best part is that you are having fun doing!

Dave,

You have definitely done great things with this Web site. Thank you for creating a fantastic forum for everybody in the industry to come and speak out and share their thoughts.

Keep up the great work!

I enjoy watching how well all 5 of you are doing with your careers. Suzy is working for someone, but her vet tech career allows her to pick and choose her working hours while raising 3 kids.
When I was setting up a lamp factory in a research department I referred to myself as an “Intrapreneur” That’s as close as I got to working for myself. Keep having fun at what your doing Dave.

Thanks Dad, I love that word “Intrapreneur”.

I have always looked up to my Dad, he is one of the brightest people I know.

When I was growing up he never had a hard time explaining a complicated math homework problem to me. On his bio page on his blog he talks about not being a scientist or mathematician, I think I would have to disagree with that. :)

I love how my Dad loves to keep learning about new things – right now he is on a cosmology kick.

Of course I think I have the best Dad in the whole world!

Dave
