I received an anonymous review of the house.info rental site from a property manager who is trying it out, thought it might be nice to share.
“Each section of information requires you to enter, edit, and save it separately similar to postlets.com. This eliminates the “timed out” that you can get with the long listing. If you take pictures vertically though it does cut it off. For each listing the contact information needs to be inputted for each listing. I’m so used to having that “memorized” for me that I forgot to put it in the system initially which could put me in violation of licensing laws which is not good. For the features of each property needs to be inputted individually vs. being a “button”.
As a person searching for a home, the features are not searchable – only the location, price, keywords, and bedrooms and that is “hidden” at the bottom of the page.
I just listed over the weekend, and all traffic for all sites has been slower / down for the last month. So at this time I’m not sure what type of response I will have. I do know that RentMarketer is posting on House.info as well so they must see some end result to include it on their system.
I did not see a stat feature to allow me to see what has been viewed by others. Many of the free sites do not have this option.”
