Not sure why (perhaps it has to do with the current real estate market) but the interest in “houses for rent” has not started to do it’s normal season dip yet.
It appears that the number of queries for “houses for rent” on Google is above the normal January bump - which is saying a lot where the chart ends in mid October.

Actually, the time between now and Christmas is one of the busiest times for me. A lot of corporations are looking at their budgets and realizing that they need to do a few more transfers for the tax benefits. As the people that are being transferred have a limited time to find a home and many not have the ability to visit the area prior to moving, we see a large number of visitors at this time as well since we provide so much detail about the home.

All those foreclosures throw a monkey wrench into the whole seasonal rentals scenario! Those folks have to go somewhere!
