I nominate Dave Dugdale! Seriously, who knows MORE about Primedia, Rentals or... well who spends more effort thinking about Primedia and Rentals than Dave Dugdale? No one! That would not be possible...

I will give both my thumbs up for Dave Dugdale for President of Primedia. If, for no other reason, he has more passion for Primedia than anyone in history.

Ga Dogs,

Whats Ritchie's background? Huey has no real experience in the industry. Turnbull has worked a lot of different jobs at Apt Guide and would seem to be in line for the promotion.

It will be fun to see who wins out as top dog at Rentals now that Jamie is gone!

As Borden said on this blog:
One thing I can assure all of you is that the team running Rentals.com as a whole is VERY solid. Jamie Gallo is one of the brightest internet minds that I have ever encountered.

Will it be Huey or Turnbull now that the "brightest internet mind" has been extinguished?

Again from Borden's blog:

"Steve Huey. I don’t really know Steve that well as my interaction with him was limited. I was a little surprised to hear that decision but there was little choice since all of us left.

Robert Turnbull is one of my favorite guys over there, and is a great sales leader.

Will it be Huey (there was little choice since all of us left) or Turnbull " the great sales leader" now that the "brightest internet mind" has been extinguished?

Borden praising you can be the kiss of death!

Whoever wins will be on the hot seat. KKR is expecting big things.

Gallo sold KKR a vision of of a business that had a tremendous upside. I think they will struggle trying to make their revenue projections. KKR needs a boost to Primedia stock and I don't believe they will get it!

The Rentalhouse gangs first year under CSI is winding down. Will Massey bail like the Rentclicks folks did? My guess is yes!

If Huey wins out as the rentals top dog his middle management folks may be safe a little while longer.
If not.......they and their fat paychecks will be history.
Unlike Borden ( take the money and run and leave your loyal employees working for CSI) Rentahouses actually took care of their middle management people who helped them grow.

They got raises and CSI overpays them for what they truly are worth.

Will be an interesting Fall....the soap opera continues!

Check your links. They are spelled out correctly, but they both direct to Gallo's page. I had to manually type in the second one...
