He has a huge uphill battle until he reaches the roughly 2 million active users of loopnet. I would like to know just what exactly he is improving with his site over loopnet? Also, the commercial real estate division relies heavily on data feeds from the mls which will take years to build if he can get to the right people. Coldwell Banker’s commercial real estate division I guarantee is not entering in single ads.

Thanks for the blog post about my site Dave. I really appreciate that.

Mr. Rental, thank you for the comment and insight. I’ll work on getting that data feed. ; )

I agree this is a very uphill battle. At this time, I would say that Loopnet and Costar have a lock on the market. So, what am I offering or improving upon over Loopnet? I am offering a site that will provide a better user experience, more affordable price, and better exposure. Currently, I do out rank them for several key terms in Yahoo and MSN. Still working on Google, but that will only be a matter of time. I am also not charging potential tenants to view or respond to listings. I’m not trying to replace those sites, just offer more options.

Only time will tell, but I am in this for the long haul. If you would like, I’ll give anyone on here free listings and place them for you. Just to show you that my site works.

Nice website Joe!

I was looking at some listings in Florida and noticed the google address data on some of the listings are not pulling over…May be user input error like my users do all the time?

Good Luck in your new venture! Wish you big success!

Robbie
