Thanks for posting this. I deal with property images quite often and have noticed a severe lack of artistic quality in these photos. I have seen property managers use photos from the tax records, which are grainy and extremely outdated. I have seen photos of bathroom mirrors that are so glared you cant see anything.

It is possible to use photography as a successful selling tool if property managers just take the time and set up the shot to best flatter the property from. There is far less computer work involved if the picture is taken correctly from the start. And for my biggest complaint on rental photos, please property managers, don’t ever take pictures of a dirty house!

As a former renter, photos always sold me on a property, much more than the description or even the rental amount. A cheap property doesn’t have to look that way in an ad.
