A few hours ago, I heard that “Robert Turnbull and 4 other higher-ups were let go today at Rentals.com and their position is no longer being needed“.
I tried to get it confirmed from various sources, but as it turned out Bill Quirk (Rentals.com employee) confirmed just a little bit ago on his blog.
Is it strange to see this kind of turnover at a company that is supposed to be doing well?

Primedia’s earnings report is due tomorrow. I would not be surprised of additional cutbacks at Rentals.com
Gallo, Huey (remember his sales contest cruise that never happened!)and now Robert.
Even money Jamie doesn’t last till next Fall! I don’t think he had any idea what a mess he was walking into.
Borden must regret selling Rentclicks to Primedia. Most of his “old team” are long gone and Rentclicks a distant memory.
Rentalhouses continues to tank (check out their hometown of Louisville and see how many ads they have and how many Property Managers put any volume on the site….it’s a sad sad story!)
The old Rentclicks mainstays, Orlando, Colorado Springs and Denver are down in single family listings(they do have a ton of apartment listings sent over from the guide…..I’m sure that makes Property Managers real happy!)
I’m sure KKR wants out of this stinker!
Does Bill Q. work for Rentals.com? I thought he spent all his time on that dog web site of his!

Rentals is tanking in Jax……their Rep is a local Prop Mgr.
What are your thoughts?

There listings on both rentalhouses and rentals have fallen!
I have more rentals than either one of them
Maybe both of them combined since they feed properties between there sites.

What is the feedback from PM’s regarding all the apartments they loaded up on their site?
Most of the area P.M’s do not even use rentals, rentalhouses anymore, I have most of them now!
Some of them have moved to RHP, but happy to say two of them are coming to me next week
They are not happy with results from RHP either.
Take a look at both sites in there property managers directory..they are pretty much empty, some of the ones still listed have only a few listings when they use to have hundreds of listings.
I still have a big road to carve out but so far it has been going pretty well….Only if I can keep that Rentvine guy off my tail! He! He!

HA! I don’t think I could ever compete with you or Dan on a national level. So I will just stick to my “Four” markets I am working on for now.
