At RentVine we use Google Analytics software to help us keep track of our visitors. One interesting thing we found out about our visitors using the software is that 87% of our visitors use a broadband connection and only 8% use dial-up.
These numbers go against the recent news articles that I have read that say that broadband usage is around 60%. I believe most news articles are referring to home usage, so to be fair we also looked at the weekend usage to get a more fair comparision.
On the weekends where you would think most users surf from home the numbers are 84% on broadband connection and 10% on dial-up. Wow, not much of a difference.
Why are so many visiting RentVine use a fast connection? I will have to say I have no idea.
