I myself don’t run a blog like this. But one of my co-workers does. He just got done telling me about one he got from the United Kingdom. Curious as to what to do about it I pointed him at this. See if he reads it or not.

Hey Dave –
I get flooded with these emails . . . most are from India, and a few are from the Philippines. Of course you can do an IP lookup to confirm. I actually laugh when I catch these guys on our site creating fake profiles with all-american names. I’d just rather they be up front about who they are . . . at least you can ignore them knowing they’re being slightly honest in what they are doing.

Bummer to see that they are now doing this from India. I thought it was a great SEO technique that was very legit.
That being said, I have a vacation rental company in Hawaii and would like to make a guest post on your site if you allow that.

Hi Dave…and yes up here in Canada, I’ve had 3 requests for the same type of backlink from India, in one case, I rec’d 6 guest blog posts on SEO, all I needed to do was to choose one…

sigh…wehre do these idiots come from, eh?
