We are seeing this as well in the Seattle area. They are all over Craigslist. Not just rentals either. Look at the cars for sale. Scams are just everywhere! How can this happen? Thanks for a great post on this. People need to be aware of what is going on!
superhomerentals.com wrote about this a while back on his blog about the craigslist.org thing dont take money orders for over seas , you also showed on your blog once how you can look at a home on google.com and make sure it is not an empty lot also one big now is people acting like they are the owners/property managers renting the home and taking the depoist and running away thanks to websites like your’s rentvine and superhomerentals for telling us about this stuff
