RentalHomePlus to Get New Owner Sam Zell

I didn’t know that the Tribune owns part of Classified Ventures (parent company of RentalHomesPlus).

Now, from the way I read it Sam Zell is buying Tribune Co. and taking it private.

Big news for RentalHomesPlus, I guess. I used to be an acoustical consultant – I am not a finance guy so it is tough for me to comment on this story.

I am not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing for RentalHomesPlus, perhaps someone has an opinion they would like to share?

Won’t make a bit of difference. Classified Ventures is owned by 5 giants in the newspaper world. The restructuring of 1 won’t have any impact on a business in which there are 4 other mammoth companies with ownership interests.
