Looks like the site is still in beta.
This product is currently in Beta and should not be treated as general availability. Please report any problems via the Feed back link.
First thing I tried to do was a search of homes for rent.
I went to select a state like Colorado and the state pulldown menu did not work.
Since that didn’t work, I tried just hitting the search button and found a house that belonged in Atlanta out off the coast of Mexico. Oops!
Looks like their database is still contaminated with testing data (Unless Epic River is now doing property management).

Looks like it is still Alpha and not Beta yet. Looks like NARPM still has some work to do. Their pricing page is hard to find and is totally blank. If I recall right they have been working on this site for close to a year now and spent over $200,000 on it – it should be much farther along than this (but I am glad it is not!).
I only looked at the site for 5 minutes and found these issues, I am guessing there are many more. Yes, I guess I am a little bitter about the HomeRentalPros.com site. I just take exception to NARPM creating a competing site to the companies the help fund NARPM.

Maybe you should pay attention to what you are saying. You graphic’s label says “CITY”. When I checked out the site, you select a state, and then it populates the cities that are available.
You say you are a little “bitter”, but after reading your other messages about this site, it seems like more then a little bitterness. You seem to have a major grudge against this site.
Maybe you should consider being more “factual” and less “emotional” and people might consider your opinion to be a little more valid
What are the facts??
I already know a few of them…Refresh my memory
Well,
Dave is correct…..Your “Google” mapping is totally not working.
Hey! I know a programmer who is pretty good with Google maps…I will send you his info if you need it.
I have found more problems also Paul…
But you get paid the big bucks….you can figure it out…But I will give you a hint…
Look at your source code on listing_view.aspx you have issues there my friend.
On this page:

You need to update the link on the “pricing page” image It is linked to your admin page
I don’t know any of the facts. All I read was his previous messages that are linked to this page. All I was suggesting to him was that he reduce his emotional commentary. If he has a grudge against this site or the company that runs it, it taints his position. Our company does not use his site or this rentalhomepros. But sometimes he has information of value on this blog, and the bitterness he admits to expressing dillutes the value of the good stuff he provides
Paul,
thanks for stopping by. you are right I should stop teasing rentalhomepros because I am sure that doesn’t help me with narpm members.
question for you. why do you not use my site? is it because of the things I write here?
I don’t see a problem with it at all….It is a “public” blog.
He pokes fun at his competition….so do I
That’s his choice as to what he decides to say on it. but it is funny how controversy always attracts everyones attention.
We are a very small company, just getting started. Less then a dozen properties so far. The only point that I was trying to make, is that sometimes the comments you make actually make you sound “petty” rather then professional. If you are trying to be a Leader in this industry, you have to take the “high road” to be seen as professional, not let your personal bias be a distraction
Paul,
Thanks for all your comments. That is why I allow comments on this blog so I can see what my readers want.
When you have some properties to rent out let me know I will give you a promocode so you can have some free listings.
