When I came up with my domain I really looked hard for something that would compliment my "regional" website in a search. My problem was I was real late to the party! The TLD'S for my region were gone! :( So I just typed my current domain into the little box and Shazam! I bought it! Most searches with the phrase " first coast" I rank on the first page (most of the time) Most of the time when users type in "first coast rentals" they are looking for firstcoastrentalsdotcom. Many times they end up on my site calling me. And I always kindly direct them to his company, Fortunately for me he is one of my "friends" and advertisers also....So it works out for us :) All in all when I started with my domain I knew I would have to contend in my market with a "weak" domain name And I have done a very good job at doing it. (Not been easy with Dave on my coattail!) As for the other domain extensions for my site....No worries....My domain is not a TLD so I have never worried about it. The super bowl domains should always perform well with correct site structure and marketing. :) Boy,
