RentClicks and Rentals to Get a Makeover

From Going Interactive’s Blog they tell us they have been selected to redesign the Rentclicks and Rentals sites.

“AutoGuide.com will be the first site to launch in the early fall.”

The fall! Wow, why does it take that long to do a redesign? It appears this company loves Flash (check out their home page), I am wondering if they will incorporate Flash in to the redesign? If they do the whole site in Flash I can see it taking that long (I have done a lot of Flash in the past and I know it is time consuming).

Of course I would love it if they redesign it all in Flash - that way they would lose all their rankings in a heart beat. I am sure they wouldn’t do this however. For about a week last year in March RentClicks did play around with a Flash picture slide shows but took them off later pretty quickly.

I not sure if they know it yet, but I bet they will also get the HomeRentalAds and RentalHouses sites as well. Or maybe not, one guess is they will leave those sites alone to die a slow death.

Update: When you look at the link above you will notice that it is archived in the August 2006 folder. Do you think that maybe they started on the redesign back then but they are just about to release it? Perhaps they couldn’t talk about it until now.
