Dave,

They seem to have taken the #1 spot in my market for some good search terms in google only.

I still rank way above them in other search engines, I have made some nice changes to my site..So we will see how it goes.

Anytime they rank above me I am always right up there shirttail :) I like being second anyway..Most people do not click on the first thing they see anyway.

B.T.W. You are kicking my butt on st augustine market :*(

I'm going to have to go back into the woodwork for a while :)

Well just after I wrote that post I noticed that Rentals.com redirection had changed a bit and they are now doing most of of it correctly now.

All the links that are now redirected to Rentals.com plus the links that will come from HomeRentalAds.com should put them back where RentClicks was. So I have changed my view point.

What will be interesting is to see what happens to HomeRentalAds.com's links. That site was mostly built on a reciprocal linking strategy - I can bet that Rentals.com will not honor those reciprocal links - so over time those links to HomeRentalAds.com will fade (link rot).

Anonymous, you always have something interesting to say on this blog, can you at least tell us if you are a competitor or not?

What will be of most interst is to see if Rentals.com can get back to RentClicks.com previous traffic numbers. My guess is they will not.

Care to share why?
