I got word that as of last week CSI (Consumer Source Inc.) is not allowing RentMarketer to post to their family of sites anymore. The reason I hear is that CSI is now considering RentMarketer competition.
I don’t see how RentMarketer is competition. RentMarketer is basically a reseller.
From what I understand RentMarketer was paying full price (or close to full price) for RentClicks listings, so I am not sure why they would want to lose RentMarketer’s clients.
As of last week RentVine is now receiving ads from the RentMarketer network. We are part of the Platinum package: $89.95 which also includes other big sites like RentalHomesPlus.

Dave have you noticed the extreme drop in lisitngs on Rentclicks in each other their markets?? I wonder why this.
Tim,
To be honest I have not been tracking the listing numbers on RentClicks and others – I guess I should. I have been spending most of my time trying to out rank them in the search engines first.
If you have been tracking those #, I would love to hear more!

Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed a sharp drop in listings on Rentclicks in most of the major markets, if they are the GIANT player they call themselves you would think their book of business would be growing not shrinking.
Tim,
A couple of things come to mind that might have caused the drop, RentMarketer is no longer posting to RentClicks and perhaps since David Borden left may be some PM’s don’t feel comfortable listing with them anymore (long shot).

Thank you for the information. I like knowing where RentMarketer is posting as I generally am posting in the same places. So it sounds like more people will get to enjoy their listings posted on RentVine – Congratulations!
