The latest numbers are out from the free metric site and since I am Mr. Transparent I thought I would share where I currently sit. Compete.com shows me at #6 but Quantcast.com shows me edging out RentalHomesPlus for the #5 spot. 
Just about all sites are up in traffic from the last time I looked, except for HomeRentalAds – they have dropped in both metric sites. HomeRentalAds just doesn’t get any love from CSI.
Also Rentals.com made an impressive gain in traffic – must be from all the promotion CSI is placing on this site.
HotPads also made an impressive jump too – no idea why.
In a way, it is sad to see 1SourceRents.com slip away to last place.
I consider the sites listed above my direct competitors on a national level.

What will happen to Rentclicks and Homerental ads once everything is redirected to Rentals?
How does Google and Yahoo handle these consolidations in the rankings?
The best way to answer that question is to look at history to see what has happened to ClevelandRents.com after it was purchased by RentalHouses and now owned by CSI.
If you type in Clevelandrents.com into your browser you will notice it redirects to Rentals.com.
If you do a search in Google for “clevelandrents” you will notice that Google #1 result is Rentals.com.
This is exactly what will happen to RentClicks.com next month on the switch over.
From an SEO view point all the links from RentClicks will pass over to Rentals.com after a couple of weeks – maybe even longer if some of the links are not crawled very often.
So if I were to guess we should see Rentals.com at the number traffic spot after about a month of the redirection.
How do the sites fare when number of listings is the criteria?
Don’t you feel that is an important benchmark for searchers?

Nice to see you visit again, you are correct if I were to list them by ads I would be near last place.
However, that is not what I am all about, for me it is all about the traffic – the rest will come later.

As far as Cleveland Rents goes…From the little research I have done on them…They seem to have grown really fast in a regional market.
and caught the attention of a lot of people. I really wonder just how big they were before they sold.

My question is will they redirect RentList.net, RentList.com, Georgialandlord.com and the others to Rentals.com since they are all owned by CSI?
I bet all of it will happen within the next 30-60 days.
