Readers of this blog know that I give my competition a hard time (but I have respect for them), the question I have is should I tone my blog down a bit now that my site is ranking higher in the search engines?
Should I Not Give My Competitors a Hard Time on this Blog?

Dave,
Since the other sites do not have their own blogs to get feedback from their clients and the industry you should keep up the good work!
Why would you tone it down after achieving higher rankings? What is the relationship? It’s entertainment. Just don’t call them “nappy”.
Dave,
If you ‘call it like it is’, then you are not being hard on anyone. There are a lot of inefficiencies in our market, currently, and somebody needs to point them out.
The trick is to not just point out problems, but to also offer solutions. Your website can be the solution, if you provide that service. If there is another website that provides a solution, then you can point them out.
Balancing out the cons with the pros will be much appreciated by all.
I am your competitor, and I like the competition.
Jake,
I am glad you wrote, “It’s entertainment.”.
I hope I am providing info on the industry and providing a little entertainment as well.
Dave
Jake,
I am just worried that as my site becomes known to more and more property managers, they may not like the fact that I poke fun at competitors that they use.
That could hurt my bottom line - so that is why I created this poll.
But it looks like from the poll results so far that no one (including my competition) seems to mind that I give them a hard time.
I am sure glad my competition has a good sense of humor!
Dave
I, frankly, would like to see you do an ‘R’ rated flash animated parody of the Primedia aquisitions.
