Hi Dave,
When is the seattle conference? I will be in San Jose again this year. I am also working a relocation portal that will have rental listings. Right now we just have property managers listed on the site ( www.nationalrelocation.com ). We are going to let owners and propery managers list their rentals for free. What would be the best way to get the word out? I would love to hook up with you at one of these confrences.

If you ever travel to Hawaii we could hook up aswell. have a great 2007!!

Aloha,
Jeff Manson

Jeff,

I was in Vegas for the PubCon conference last month, good conference.

In terms of industries to SEO, I think we have picked a tough one. But it is fun. I also have a vacation rental site - but it is really doing poorly.

The Google rankings for these site are all across the map as you would think. However RentClicks does a solid job staying at the top of most of them. For example "Tampa homes for rent" RentClicks has the #1 spot with their sub-domain.

I am thinking of attending Danny's new Seattle conference. If you are going there maybe we can meet up. At SES in San Jose this year I met a couple of nice people from Homeaway.com. Alway interesting to talk with people in similar industries.

Hi Dave,

My name is Jeff the new owner of www.goin2travel.com . Very interesting stats. I really think traffic is very important for the clients that are advertising. What are are the google rankings for these sites and what are the most important keywords?

I also attend allot of the SEO conferences as well. Were you in Las Vegas this past November for Pubcon?
