Reno is making a bid for the 2018 Winter Olympic games. If Reno gets the games at Squaw Valley Ski Resort, Mount Rose Ski Resort the housing market should hot with many contractors coming to town to build out the facilities and update them from the 1960 Winter Olympics.
Reno is know for closeby skiing. Many of the resorts are as close as 11 miles for the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
