About Findlay

Lima is known for its rich oil history. The production peaked out in the early 1900's. An oil pipeline was actually built from Lima to Chicago. Lima is known for production of the Sherman Tank.

University of Northwestern Ohio established 1920 has several dorms for rent: College Park Dorms, Northwestern Park Dorms, Sherwood Park Dorms, Founders Hall complex, Stambaugh Hall . The newest housing to open is the Affinity Housing Complex which includes a commons building and 4 residential buildings which add 160 student rooms. Lima Hall including Brookhart Hall and Roberts Hall will be undergoing a renovation soon. Clark Hall will be demolished soon.
