It was a short week for our team, with the office closed Friday for the holiday, but that didn't slow down what shipped for you. Great property management software should get out of your way and let you focus on the work that matters: your owners, your residents, and your team. This week's updates do exactly that. Month-to-Month lease handling finally gives leasing teams a native way to manage leases without a fixed end date, no more workarounds. Form Builder keeps getting more flexible, with new conditional logic and persistent custom fields that mean less re-entering data and more forms that adapt to how you actually work. And owner lead intake just got simpler too, with optional email capture so your team can qualify a lead by phone alone.
Alongside these, we shipped a handful of smaller improvements we think you'll appreciate day to day, from more visibility into Money Out payments to a cleaner vendor portal experience. And because reliability matters as much as new features, this release also resolves several Bank Sync issues, including statement and match-selection conflicts, duplicate reconciliations, Match Assist OCR parsing on Wells Fargo statements, and a Plaid sync failure affecting Assisted-mode accounts, along with a chat and file-download regression.
Here's everything that shipped:
Enhancements
- Added Month-to-Month lease handling, giving property managers a way to convert and manage leases without a fixed end date.
- Added a Messages tab to the owner lead profile, making it easier to keep owner lead communication in one place.
- Made email optional when creating owner leads, so teams can start intake and pre-qualification by phone alone.
- Added conditional logic to Form Builder, letting fields, sections, and pages show or hide based on other answers.
- Improved Form Builder to persist custom field data across forms, so answers no longer need to be re-entered.
- Redesigned the vendor portal sidenav profile card for a more consistent, polished look.
- Added last-4 destination bank account details to Money Out payments (eCheck/ACH), including a new column on the Check Register report.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where programmatic field values could break Form Builder validation.
- Fixed a regression that removed the download option from chat and file preview menus.
- Fixed a Bank Sync issue where deleting a statement or running maintenance tasks could overwrite saved match selections.
- Fixed a Bank Sync issue that could create duplicate pending reconciliations when setting up a new bank account.
- Fixed Rentvine Chat file and picture downloads that weren't available.
- Fixed Match Assist failing to parse the Checks Paid section of Wells Fargo bank statements.
- Fixed a Plaid connector issue causing repeated sync failures on Assisted-mode Bank Sync accounts.
As always, these updates come from feedback and needs you've shared with us. If you have thoughts on what would make Rentvine work better for your team, we're listening.
