It started with investing
Matt began his career at 22, working in sales at a venture-backed tech company. He wanted to build his own future, so he started investing in real estate.
How he accidentally became a property manager
Long story short, he ended up with about 20 or 30 rentals and started a property management company, because obviously that would be easy. He quickly found out he was just an arrogant 23-year-old. It's also where he learned property management, the hard way.
The problem that stuck with him
Through that experience, Matt couldn't believe there was no way to objectively find a property manager. He wanted to know the things that actually matter:
