Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (this “AUP”) governs the access to and use of the Rentvine Software, Services, Websites, Portals, APIs, AI Tools, AI Agents and MCP Services (collectively, the “Services”). This AUP is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, the Master Subscription Terms and the Digital Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Master Subscription Terms. Rentvine may update this AUP from time to time; the then-current version applies to all use of the Services. A violation of this AUP constitutes a material breach of the applicable agreement governing the user’s access to the Services, including the Master Subscription Terms or Digital Terms of Use, as applicable.

1. 1. General Prohibited Uses.

   You may not use the Services to:

   • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including the Fair Housing Act, the FCRA, consumer-protection, privacy, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and rent-pricing and fee-disclosure laws and ordinances;
   • Upload, transmit, or generate content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, infringing, or that violates any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
   • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or engage in any denial-of-service, flooding, or similar attack;
   • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users’ accounts, or any connected system, server, or network;
   • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, data-mine, or attempt to derive source code, models, prompts, or underlying structure, except to the limited extent permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this restriction;
   • Resell, sublicense, or provide the Services on a service-bureau or time-sharing basis, or use the Services for competitive analysis or to build a competing product; or
   • Remove or obscure any proprietary notice, or use any means to mask, spoof, or rotate identity or IP address to circumvent access controls.
2. 2. AI Tools, AI Agents and MCP-Specific Rules.

   In addition to the general rules above, you may not:

   • Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or inject adversarial instructions into any AI Tool or AI Agent, or engage in prompt injection or tool-poisoning;
   • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any guardrail, permission scope, rate limit, authentication, sandbox, or security control applicable to AI Tools, AI Agents, or the MCP Services;
   • Connect an AI Agent or MCP Client using over-scoped, shared, or long-lived credentials, or fail to promptly revoke credentials upon suspected compromise;
   • Direct an AI Agent to access, read, or act upon data, tools, or accounts beyond the scope you are authorized to access or that the applicable connected system permits;
   • Use the Services, AI Output, or Agent Output to train, fine-tune, validate, or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, except as expressly permitted by Rentvine in writing;
   • Rely on AI Output or an Agent Action for any consequential decision (including funds movement, resident communications, screening, pricing, eligibility, or adverse-action decisions) without appropriate human review and independent verification; or
   • Use AI Tools, AI Agents, or the MCP Services in any manner that could reasonably be expected to overload, degrade, or disrupt the Services or any connected system.
3. 3. Security and Account Responsibilities.
   • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all credentials, tokens, and access artifacts, and enable multi-factor authentication where available;
   • Scope AI Agent and user permissions to the least privilege necessary, and promptly suspend or revoke access that is no longer needed or that may be compromised;
   • Promptly notify Rentvine of any suspected unauthorized access, security incident, or misuse; and
   • Ensure that all Authorized Users and AI Agents operating under your account comply with this AUP, for whose acts and omissions you are responsible.
4. 4. Monitoring and Enforcement.

   Rentvine may log, monitor, rate-limit, throttle, sandbox, and audit use of the Services (including AI Agent and MCP activity) to operate and secure the Services and to enforce this AUP and the Agreement. Rentvine may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, throttle, or terminate access (in whole or in part), remove content, and pursue any other remedy available under the Agreement or applicable law. Rentvine will use reasonable efforts to provide notice where practicable, except where doing so would compromise security, the Services, or a legal obligation.

5. 5. Changes to this AUP.

   Rentvine may modify this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be effective on the “Last Modified” date or as otherwise provided in the Agreement, and continued use of the Services after such date constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
