What’s new in owner payment management

1. Smarter visibility with status filtering

The updated Pay Owner screen now highlights accounts that need attention before processing. The system alerts you to undeposited or unsettled receipts, ensuring that pending funds aren’t mistakenly distributed to owners. This prevents bounced payments and reconciliation headaches down the line.

2. Easier hold management

Need to hold back funds for maintenance or repairs? You can now place portfolios on hold directly from the Pay Owner screen—no more jumping between tabs. The system clearly displays hold amounts and reasons for easy tracking.

3. Enhanced filtering and navigation

You can now filter payouts by status, state, tags, and property groups to quickly locate and review the right accounts. The filters are designed to work together, making it simple to focus on specific owners or portfolios during payment processing.

4. Cleaner, faster payment confirmation

The new Payment Submission module features a modernized user interface that’s easier to read and navigate. With built-in multi-factor authentication (MFA) and improved layout, confirming owner payments is smoother and more secure than ever.

5. Automatic statement creation

Once payments are submitted, the system automatically launches the Owner Statement Batch Process. This update eliminates extra clicks and ensures statements are created immediately after payout—reducing the risk of missed reports or incomplete accounting.

Why it matters

This update eliminates manual steps, prevents payout errors, and keeps property managers fully in control of the owner payment process. By combining visibility, automation, and improved UI design, Rentvine helps you manage distributions confidently and efficiently—all from one streamlined dashboard.

Welcome back, Rentvine family, to another Rentvine Academy. I'm your host, Alex Cordova, Sales Engineer here at Rentvine, and today we’re going to be showing you the brand-new, updated user interface of the Pay Owner screen.

On my screen, you can see the new update our team just launched. We now have status filtering, so you can easily see who needs attention. The system will even alert you if there are undeposited receipts—for example, $6,000 that still needs to clear.

You can now place portfolios on hold directly from this page. In this example, we’re holding back $6 for a large maintenance repair.

The new view shows what’s being held back—like unsettled or undeposited receipts—so you’re never sending funds that are still in settlement. This helps prevent payment issues that could leave you in a difficult spot with owners.

Across the top, you’ll notice new filtering options by state, tags, and property groups. You can select, apply, or reset filters quickly.

When you’re ready to post payments, you’ll see the redesigned confirmation screen. It’s cleaner, more organized, and includes MFA verification. Once payments are submitted, the system automatically takes you to the Owner Statement Batch process, eliminating extra clicks and ensuring statements are generated immediately.

This new Pay Owner update brings better visibility, automation, and efficiency to your payout process. Always remember—Rentvine to the moon!
