What's New in Rentvine: Native Occupancy Tracking, a Refreshed Maintenance Portal, and Bank Sync Improvements

This week's updates span two deployment trains, and the headline is Occupancy Tracking, now built natively into Rentvine. Per-lease occupancy windows are recorded automatically, with new Lease report columns and filters, a monthly Vacancy/Occupancy report, and a Unit Occupancy History timeline that gives you a clear record over time. Closing a lease now requires a Closed Date (it defaults to today), so that history stays accurate going forward.

Leasing teams also get a new Prospects location filter, with a "Near" filter and property or unit Prospects tabs, so you can find and view prospects tied to a specific location without digging. Maintenance operations get a visual refresh too, with an updated Maintenance Portal navigation and layout, and project bid PDFs are now available to every customer.

On the reliability side, we restored the 10-day Bank Sync auto-match window, so money-out payouts that clear a few days late go back to matching automatically instead of requiring manual review. A handful of work order, screening, and portal fixes round out the release. Here's everything that shipped:

Enhancements

  • Added Occupancy Tracking — per-lease occupancy windows recorded natively, new Lease report columns and filters, a monthly Vacancy/Occupancy report, and a Unit Occupancy History timeline. Closing a lease now requires a Closed Date (defaults to today).
  • Added a Prospects location filter — a new "Near" filter and property/unit Prospects tabs to find and view prospects tied to a specific property or unit.
  • Made project bid PDFs available to all customers.
  • Refreshed the Maintenance Portal with an updated navigation and layout.
  • Updated RentSign email verbiage.

Fixes

  • Restored the 10-day Bank Sync auto-match window for money-out transactions, so payouts clearing 6–10 days late auto-match again.
  • Fixed the work order Projects page showing an incorrect Actual Spend total.
  • Fixed work order estimated cost not updating on approval, so funds are held back correctly.
  • Fixed the work order number not displaying in the internal technician portal on mobile.
  • Fixed the rental history Edit button appearing before an applicant granted landlord-verification consent.
  • Fixed a Portfolio Statements breadcrumb returning a 404.

As always, these updates come from feedback and needs you've shared with us. If you have thoughts on what would make Rentvine work better for your team, we're listening.
