What's New: Bill Assignment, Mobile Custom Fields, and More

This release focuses on two areas your team has been asking about: routing bills to the right person without the manual back-and-forth, and getting more of your lease and work order data accessible on mobile. We also made improvements to screening, inspections, and owner lead workflows, and fixed a handful of issues affecting bank sync, reporting, and the applicant portal.

Bill Assignment and Default Bill Assignee

Previously, new bills had no built-in way to land with the right person — teams were routing them manually or relying on workarounds. Now you can assign any bill to a specific user with the right permissions, and set a Default Bill Assignee per property so new bills are routed automatically. This helps teams with multiple approvers stay organized without extra coordination.

Mobile App: Custom Fields on Lease Details and Work Order Edits

Custom Fields on lease details are now available in the mobile app, so managers in the field can view and edit business-specific information without needing to go back to a desktop. We also added cancel and edit actions to the Work Order details page in the mobile app, making it easier to respond to changes on the go.

Screening, Inspections, and Owner Lead Improvements

Inspection type now shows directly on the inspection list and detail views so you don't have to open a record to know what you're looking at. On the screening side, you can now see other applications for the same unit from the Decision View, and download a PDF from the Credit tab. For owner leads, you can copy forms to new form types — including converting a PMA to an owner lead — and append existing RentSign documents without starting over. Legally Required Docs also now appear at the work order submission step.

Accounts payable

  • Added Bill Assignment so property managers can route bills to any user with the right permissions, supporting teams with multiple approvers.
  • Added a Default Bill Assignee that automatically assigns new bills to the property assignee.
  • Added non-Florida invoice tax handling.

Mobile

  • Added Custom Fields to lease details in the mobile app, so managers can view and edit business-specific information from the field.
  • Added cancel and edit actions to the Work Order details page in the mobile app.

Screening & inspections

  • Added inspection type to the inspection list and detail views so users can see it at a glance.
  • Added a link on the Decision View application to view other applications for the same unit.
  • Added a PDF download for the Decision View Credit tab.

Owner lead & work orders

  • Added Legally Required Docs to the work order submission step.
  • Added the ability to copy forms to new form types, including moving an existing PMA to an owner lead.
  • Added the ability to append existing RentSign documents to an owner lead.

Fixes

  • Fixed the applicant portal application flow, restoring the legacy apply experience and resolving URL preservation and question-label wrapping.
  • Fixed an incorrect timestamp in the chat tab of AI Diagnostic Details.
  • Fixed Match Assist so credits are correctly parsed from enterprise bank statements.
  • Fixed a Payment Return task error that occurred when the return ID was missing.
  • Fixed incorrect data on the Property Budgets vs. Actuals report.
  • Fixed the Technician column not updating on the work order list.
  • Fixed issues in Projects, including edit-limit modal validation and missing currency formatting.
  • Fixed an issue preventing managers from sending technicians a chat message from the manager portal.
  • Fixed mobile Work Order sheet titles to match the designs.
  • Fixed the dashboard greeting time color on mobile.
