What's New in Rentvine: Flexible Leasing, a Smarter Form Builder, and a Refreshed Tenant Portal

This week's updates span two deployment trains, and there's a lot in here that makes day-to-day work easier for your team and your residents. Month-to-Month lease handling is here, giving leasing teams a native way to convert and manage leases without a fixed end date. Form Builder takes a big step forward too, with a new conditional logic engine so fields, sections, and pages can show or hide based on other answers, plus custom field data that now persists across forms so your team isn't retyping the same answers twice.

On the field service side, the new mobile Request Estimates flow lets your team request, view, and log work order estimates right from the field, with vendors responding through the Vendor Portal. Owner and applicant workflows got easier as well, with a printable blank application you can post on your own website, co-owner forms, and editable rental history addresses. Your residents will also notice a refreshed Tenant Portal with updated navigation and layout, and Renters Insurance enrollment is smoother thanks to pre-populated roommates as additional insureds.

Underneath it all, this release includes continued investment in Bank Sync reliability and accounting quality, resolving match-selection conflicts, duplicate reconciliations, Match Assist parsing on Wells Fargo statements, a Plaid sync failure on Assisted-mode accounts, and more. Here's everything that shipped:

Enhancements

  • Built Month-to-Month lease handling — new support for converting and managing leases without a fixed end date.
  • Shipped the Form Builder conditional logic engine, allowing fields, sections, and pages to show or hide based on other answers.
  • Added custom field data persistence across Form Builder forms, so answers no longer need to be re-entered.
  • Added co-owner forms, letting property managers fill out forms for co-owners, not just the primary owner.
  • Added a Messages tab to the owner lead profile so managers can text or email leads directly.
  • Made email optional on owner lead creation, supporting phone-only intake with an "Invite not sent" fallback state.
  • Added a printable blank application — download a blank copy of any application template to post on your website.
  • Added editing of current and historical addresses from the application's rental history tab.
  • Launched the mobile Request Estimates flow — request, view, and log work order estimates from the field, with vendors responding through the Vendor Portal.
  • Added the Renters Insurance manual-entry card to the Move-In flow, matching the active-lease experience.
  • Improved Renters Insurance enrollment by pre-populating a lease's roommates as additional insureds (up to four).
  • Added last-4 destination bank account capture and display for Money Out (eCheck/Nacha) payments, plus a new Check Register column.
  • Refreshed the Tenant Portal with an updated navigation and layout.
  • Redesigned the vendor portal profile card and polished button and color usage across the app.

Fixes

  • Fixed the Move-Out Statement not reflecting updated move-out and move-in dates or notice days when edited after a move-out.
  • Fixed Bank Sync match selections being overwritten by statement deletion or maintenance tasks.
  • Fixed duplicate pending reconciliations created during first bank account setup.
  • Fixed Match Assist failing to read the Checks Paid section on Wells Fargo statements.
  • Fixed a Plaid connection issue that caused repeated sync failures on Assisted-mode Bank Sync accounts.
  • Fixed Bank Sync matching so transactions with empty reference values are no longer treated as matches.
  • Fixed the Bank Transactions heading placement in the Bank Sync side drawer.
  • Fixed the Reconciliation error display with a cleaner, collapsible format.
  • Fixed an error when searching Transactions with multiple property, transaction type, or ledger filters.
  • Fixed the Saved Search button not working.
  • Fixed Tenant Legal Liability Insurance submissions failing on 9-digit postal codes and settings displaying incorrect values on new accounts.
  • Fixed applicants being blocked at income verification after successfully completing Plaid.
  • Fixed Form Builder validation for fields with empty value lists.
  • Fixed a regression that removed the download option from file and image previews, and restored Rentvine Chat picture and file downloads.
  • Fixed bills failing to be created when an internal technician was assigned to a work order.
  • Fixed the Technician column rendering blank on the Work Orders list when multiple technicians are assigned.
  • Fixed layout and styling issues across the app, including the Top App Bar on smaller screens, buttons on marketing and lease creation pages, and card colors on detail pages.
