Application Navigation, Prospect Filters, and Credit Report Updates

Application Navigation, Prospect Filters, and Credit Report Updates

This release delivers a smoother workflow for leasing and property management teams by improving how users move through applications, review prospect information, and interpret credit reporting details. These updates are designed to reduce clicks, preserve context, and help teams work more efficiently inside Rentvine.

For property management companies handling high application volume, even small workflow improvements can make a big impact. From faster navigation in Edit mode to better prospect filtering and clearer Decision View reporting, these changes help your team move from review to action with less friction. Application Workflow Improvements

Edit Mode: Application Sub-Tabs Are Now Navigable

When toggling into Edit mode, the sub-tabs under the Application section — including Personal Info, Vehicles, and Occupants — are now fully enabled and clickable. This gives users the ability to jump directly to the section they need, matching the experience already available in View mode.

For leasing teams reviewing applicant records, this creates a faster and more intuitive editing experience, especially when updating specific sections without scrolling through the entire application.

Scroll Position Is Preserved When Switching Between View and Edit Modes

Switching between View and Edit modes will no longer cause the page to jump unexpectedly. Instead, the system now keeps users aligned to the relevant section or sub-header so they can maintain context while working inside the applicant record.

This improvement helps reduce confusion and saves time for teams making detailed edits during application review.

Fix: Edit Button No Longer Disables Application Sub-Navigation

We resolved an issue where clicking the Edit button incorrectly disabled items in the Application dropdown sub-navigation. Those items now remain available and usable while editing.

Fix: Reduced Excessive Page Refreshes After Verification Requests

We fixed a bug that caused unnecessary page refreshes after a verification request was sent. Verification fetching no longer triggers repeated refresh behavior, creating a more stable experience for users handling applicant verification workflows.

Prospects Feature Updates

New Prospect Filters for Faster Unit Matching

The Prospects page now includes a Filter Options panel, making it easier for property managers to match prospects with available units more efficiently.

New filter options include:

  • Beds: Studio, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5+
  • Baths: 1, 2, 3, 4+
  • Budget: From / To range

This update helps leasing teams narrow results more quickly and connect prospects with the right inventory faster. If your team is focused on improving leasing efficiency, you can also learn more about Rentvine’s broader platform capabilities on our features page.

Credit Report Improvements in Decision View

Equifax ID Added to Credit Report Header

The Rentvine credit report in Decision View now displays the Equifax ID in the applicant summary row within the report header. This gives leasing teams and support staff a faster way to reference the exact report in Equifax when diagnosing issues or escalating questions.

Improved Issue Counts on the Credit Tab

Credit report issue counts are now broken out more clearly. Previously, users saw a single combined total such as “13 Issues.” With this update:

  • Tradelines and bankruptcies are shown as separate issue count chips.
  • Issue count chips appear in both the Decision View summary table and the credit tab of the applicant modal.
  • Within sub-header sections, individual issue counts now appear next to the section label, while account totals appear beside the accordion arrow.

These changes make credit data easier to interpret at a glance, helping teams review reports with greater speed and clarity.

Fine Print Moved to the Bottom of the Credit Report

The fine print that previously appeared in the report header has been moved to the bottom of the credit report. This creates a cleaner header and keeps the most important applicant information front and center for reviewers.

Additional Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Tenant Liability Insurance could not be added if an account did not have an insurance provider or package configured in Admin.
  • Fixed an issue where legacy record-keeping TLL providers were not appearing in the Lease Object, even when the record still existed, and could not be added to a Lease Object.
  • Corrected lease renewal expiration displays so expiration timing is now consistent across the renewal experience.
  • Fixed date filter calendar icons so they open the calendar picker as expected.
  • Fixed an issue where newly added lease template hot fields for tenant, cosigner, and occupant details were not populating correctly.
  • Fixed a Vendor Portal issue where invoice attachments could fail to load or show access errors for vendor users.

Keeping Property Management Teams Moving

This release focuses on practical improvements that help property management companies operate more efficiently day to day — whether that means reviewing applications faster, filtering prospects more effectively, or giving teams clearer access to credit report details.
