What’s new in lease workflows
Built-in e-signatures at no extra cost
RentSign is Rentvine’s native e-signature tool. It works similarly to platforms like DocuSign or PandaDoc, but it is already included in your Rentvine subscription. There is no need to integrate or pay for a third-party service.
Because RentSign is built directly into Rentvine, lease data stays connected from start to finish.
Automatic document population with hot fields
When creating a lease agreement, RentSign uses hot fields to automatically populate information such as tenant names, property addresses, and lease details. Since this data already exists in Rentvine, there is no need to manually enter it again.
If you need information that is not already part of the system, custom fields can also be used as hot fields. Once the custom field is filled out, RentSign will pull that data directly into the document.
Flexible template and form management
RentSign allows you to select the appropriate lease template for each resident. Multiple forms can be included or removed before sending, such as addendums that may not apply to a specific tenant.
Templates are managed in Global Settings, making it easier to reuse the same structure without recreating documents each time.
Control signing order and delivery settings
Before sending a document for signature, you can manage the signing order and review all parties included. RentSign also allows you to customize expiration dates and reminder notifications.
These settings default from your global configuration, but they can be adjusted on a per-document basis if needed.
Documents stay connected to the lease
Once a lease agreement is sent and signed, it remains tied to the lease record. You can find it directly under the Documents section of the lease.
This ensures all lease-related paperwork stays organized, searchable, and accessible in one place.
Why it matters
RentSign helps property managers save time, reduce errors, and avoid switching between multiple platforms. By keeping e-signatures inside Rentvine, teams can create leases faster and ensure all documents stay connected to the resident and property record.

RentSign is our e-signature platform tool. It works similarly to platforms like DocuSign or PandaDoc, but it is built directly into Rentvine and included at no additional cost.
Because RentSign is part of the system, it can automatically populate documents using hot fields such as tenant names and property information. If additional data is needed, custom fields can also be used.
To create a lease agreement, select the resident, choose the appropriate lease template, and manage any forms or addendums as needed. Once created, RentSign pulls all relevant information into the document automatically.
You can manage signing order, expiration dates, and reminder settings before sending the document for signature. Once sent, the document remains connected to the lease and can be accessed from the Documents section.
Everything stays streamlined and organized inside Rentvine to make lease management easier.
