About the Role:

We are seeking a high-performing Director of Sales to lead part of our dynamic sales organization. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the effective management of sales "pods" comprised of Account Executives (AEs), Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and Sales Engineers (SEs). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proven leader with deep experience in B2B SaaS sales, team development, and complex sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Manage and mentor multiple cross-functional sales pods, ensuring alignment between AEs, BDRs, and SEs.

    • Recruit, onboard, and coach sales talent to ensure high performance across the team.

    • Establish performance standards and hold team members accountable to targets and KPIs.

  • Revenue Ownership

    • Drive revenue growth and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

    • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market dynamics.

    • Forecast accurately and manage pipeline health using CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot).

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine go-to-market strategies.

    • Implement sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN) to improve deal execution.

    • Optimize the sales pod structure to maximize collaboration, efficiency, and results.

  • Process & Analytics

    • Analyze team performance and sales metrics to identify areas of opportunity.

    • Implement best practices in sales operations, territory management, and lead qualification.

    • Drive consistent use of CRM and other sales tools to enhance productivity and reporting.



Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B software sales, with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership role.

  • Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing sales teams.

  • Experience with a pod-based sales model and familiarity with SDR/AE/SE collaboration dynamics.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles (SMB/MM), solution selling.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Gong, or similar.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Deep knowledge of The Office and ability to quote relevant show lines a plus
