Social Media Specialist

Job Description:

We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and community-driven Social Media Specialist to take ownership of our social presence across platforms. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day publishing, developing social themes, cultivating engagement, and nurturing our customer community across user groups and public-facing channels.

You’ll be the voice of our brand on social, helping to drive awareness, foster connection, and deliver a standout experience to our followers and customers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own the daily execution and management of all social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and audience relevance.

  • Plan and manage the content calendar, aligning posts with campaign goals, product updates, seasonal holidays, and marketing themes.

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions, providing an outstanding customer experience in real time.

  • Act as the lead manager of our customer-facing user groups and online communities, fostering engagement, surfacing product feedback, and highlighting user success stories.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, demand generation, customer success, and product teams to amplify campaigns, launches, events, and thought leadership.

  • Support the creation and editing of social visuals—graphics, stories, reels—either directly or by coordinating with internal design resources.

  • Report on platform performance and audience trends, offering insights to optimize engagement and growth.

  • Stay up to date with social media best practices and platform changes to recommend new strategies and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience managing social media for a corporate brand or B2B company.

  • Proven ability to write engaging, on-brand copy tailored to each platform and audience.

  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hubspot, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social).

  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms and best practices across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Basic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Figma or similar) are a plus.

  • Excellent attention to detail, responsiveness, and communication skills

  • Passion for building community and bringing a brand to life through social storytelling.
